About Virtuoso Care

 

Virtuoso Care’s service program is structured to develop and provide service that will support and maximize the quality of life and functional abilities of the residents or individuals being served. Our purpose is to provide comprehensive services which address the emotional, psychological, and physical needs of our residents or consumers. We offer a supportive environment, which assists individuals in their efforts to become more stable, independent, and productive citizens in the community. Quality care will be provided for male and/or female adults from the ages of 18 years and older, who are developmentally disabled, who have traumatic brain injuries or are physically impaired.

General Overview 

Virtuoso Care is an Adult Foster Care company, with locations in Taylor and Inkster, Michigan, Our homes offer a boutique home environment. The private care cost at these homes start at $3,853, while the average cost for an assisted living community in the Downriver area is $4,224. (These are estimated prices.)

At an AFC home, residents can expect to receive a higher staff-to-resident ratio, compared to that of a larger assisted living community, while also enjoying transportation arrangements and assistance with their activities of daily living (ADLs), some of which include bathing, getting dressed, and grooming. When living at Virtuoso Care, residents can participate in small, organized group activities unique to the resident's lives. Virtuoso Care has Adult Foster Care facilities that are licensed in the state of Michigan as well as unlicensed facilities. Virtuoso Care also accepts referrals for non private pay residents.

• Semi & Private rooms are available depending on vacancies and the individual’s needs of the resident

• Three nutritious meals with snacks serviced daily

• Housekeeping and Laundry Services daily

24-Hour Staff Supervision 

• The facility is staffed 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to service our consumers

• Facilities are staffed with:

  • Direct Care Workers

  • Certified Nursing Assistants

  • Certified Care Givers

• All Staff meet the following Standards:

  • Certified DCW/CNA

  • Criminal Background Checks

  • Annual Health Appraisals

  • TB Screenings

  • Reference Checks

  • In-Service Training 

  • Annual/ Bi-Annual Online Training 

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification

• Each Facility has a manager/supervisor onsite during normal business hours 

• 24-hour on-call manager/supervisor

Medication Management | Medical Management 

• Medications are administered and monitored by trained staff 

• Medical appointments are managed and maintained

• Transportation coordination for medical appointments and purposes when applicable
